About Me

About Me

Hello, my name is Nina Schreiner. I’m 16 years old and I live in a small town in the district of Linz-Land, Austria. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, and drawing. Family, friends, and my career are my top priorities.

Personal Qualities

I am a goal-oriented, reliable, and team-driven person who works hard and efficiently to achieve the goals I set. My dream is to bring my strengths into a great team and grow within it.

Education

Currently, I attend HLW Kreuzschwestern Linz, where I expect to graduate with a diploma (Matura) in June 2028. Before that, I studied at BRG Wels Wallerstraße and graduated with excellent results. Through my education, I have developed solid skills in Microsoft Word, Adobe Illustrator, and web design (HTML & CSS). I also have basic knowledge of accounting and economics.

Skills and Achievements

I pride myself on being a strong communicator in both German and English, highly organized, and a fast learner who adapts quickly to new tasks. Some of my proudest achievements include placing 11th in Austria in the Big Challenge 2023 — an English competition with over 1,000 participants — being selected for the Mathematics Mini-Olympiad 2023 at Voestalpine, and achieving 4th place in a sports competition with my class team.

Work Experience

I completed a 4-week internship at the Gemeinde Eggendorf from July 7 to August 1, 2025. During this time, I worked on a variety of tasks including the creation and design of the community homepage, municipal calendar, citizen service, and mail distribution. I primarily used Canvas, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Word to complete these projects, gaining practical experience in layout design, typography, and digital content management.

Work Ethic

This internship allowed me to apply my skills in a professional environment, work independently, and collaborate effectively with colleagues. It strengthened my work ethic, organizational abilities, and attention to detail, while giving me valuable insight into real-world project workflows and professional responsibilities. As a goal-oriented and helpful person, I enjoy taking responsibility and working independently, which is why I am motivated to gain additional practical experience through part-time and short-term jobs, such as working for four days at the Wels Trade Fair.

Interests and Languages

Besides my academic and career interests, I love drawing, playing sports, traveling, and watching films. I am a native German speaker, fluent in English, and have basic knowledge of Spanish.
